Kitchen conversions are super handy to know when you are cooking and baking. It can be tricky to remember how many cups in a quart, pint or gallon so we’ve got a Kitchen Conversion Chart free printable to keep handy.

How Many Cups in a Quart

If you find yourself grabbing for your phone to do a quick measurement conversion, use our printable instead. I like to print it and tape it to the inside of a kitchen cabinet so I have access to it while baking.

Sometimes when you see a recipe for something you’d like to make it is for way more servings than you need. It’s also happened to me where I’ve found something to cook or bake, then realize I’m short the volume of ingredients I need. In that case, I can use these conversions for the exact amount I’ve got and just make a smaller batch.

Kitchen Conversions

  1. The most important thing when it comes to baking is precision and always making sure you follow the recipe exactly as written.
  2. When you don’t measure your ingredients correctly, you risk the recipe not rising, being too dry or just not coming out the way it should be. One of the BEST baking tips is to spoon your flour in measuring cups and not to ever dip and scoop.
  3. You can get away with quite a bit of adding in an extra dash or this and leaving out some of that with cooking, but not with baking. Having a kitchen conversion chart near by is definitely helpful to insure that your baked goods always come out perfectly!
